A Film Conversation with SORCERY

The Latinx House hosts a conversation with the team behind 2023 World Cinema Dramatic Competition feature SORCERY – director and screenwriter Christopher Murray, producer Rocío Jadue, and actor Valentina Véliz for a panel moderated by director and Adelante Directors Fellow Nicole Mejia. SORCERY tells the 19th-century story of an Indigenous girl named Rosa who sets out for justice for her father by seeking help from the king of a powerful organization of sorcerers. Conversation with Tenoch Huerta & Cocktail Reception

Celebrate The Latinx House’s core mission of uplifting diverse voices and projects through an evening honoring the Latinx artists, filmmakers, and creators whose films are featured at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival. The evening will begin with a reception, followed by a special performance by comedian Aida Rodriguez at 9:00 pm. The Latinx House Party, DJ’d by Ana Calderon, will follow.
